If you are in the Mall Road area, start by walking towards the Lakkar Bazaar. From Lakkar Bazaar, head towards the Jakhu Temple Road. Continue walking straight along Jakhu Temple Road, which is a steep incline, for about 1.5 kilometers. You will notice signs directing you to Jakhu Temple. As you approach the temple, enjoy the beautiful views of Shimla and the surrounding hills. The temple is located at the top of the hill and you'll find it at Jakhu Temple Park.

From the Ridge or Mall Road, you can hire a rickshaw. Tell the driver you want to go to Jakhu Temple. The ride will take you up Jakhu Temple Road, which is a steep path, and you will enjoy scenic views on the way. The fare is reasonable, but make sure to negotiate before you start your journey. The rickshaw will drop you off near the entrance of Jakhu Temple Park.

For those looking for a more adventurous route, you can hike up to Jakhu Temple from the Lower Jakhu area. Begin at the entrance of the Jakhu Temple Road located near the base of the hill.
