Getting There

• Walking

  From the Summer Hill Railway Station, exit the station and turn left onto the main road. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the junction. At the junction, take a right turn onto the road leading to the Chadwick Falls. Continue walking on this road for approximately 1 kilometer. You will start to hear the sound of water as you approach the falls. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Chadwick Falls. The falls will be on your left side, and there is a small path leading down to the viewing area.

• Trekking

  For the more adventurous, there is a trekking route from the Summer Hill area. Start from the Summer Hill Railway Station and head towards the hills behind the station. Follow the trail that leads upwards through the forest. It is a steep trek, and it will take about 30-40 minutes to reach the falls. Make sure to wear good hiking shoes and carry water. The trek is scenic and offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills.

• Local Transport (Rickshaw)

  If you prefer not to walk, you can hire a local rickshaw (auto-rickshaw) from the Summer Hill area. Simply ask any local or look for a rickshaw stand near the Summer Hill Railway Station. The ride to Chadwick Falls will cost around INR 100-150, depending on your negotiation skills. The rickshaw will drop you off near the entrance to the falls, from where it's a short walk down to the viewing area.
