Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey towards Kodiveri Waterfalls from the nearest major city, which is Coimbatore (approximately 80 km away). From Coimbatore, take NH181 towards Pollachi. After reaching Pollachi, you can continue on the Pollachi - Udumalpet Road (State Highway 78). Look for signs leading to Akkaraikodivery. Upon reaching Akkaraikodivery, follow local signage to the waterfalls, which will be a short drive from the town center. There is no entry fee required to access the waterfalls.
Public Transportation
For travelers using public transportation, take a bus from Coimbatore to Pollachi. Buses run frequently from the Coimbatore Central Bus Stand to Pollachi, and the ticket price is around INR 50. Upon arriving in Pollachi, you can catch a local bus or an auto-rickshaw to Akkaraikodivery. The auto-rickshaw fare might cost you between INR 200 to INR 300. Once in Akkaraikodivery, follow local directions to reach the Kodiveri Waterfalls, which is a short distance away. Make sure to check the bus schedules for the return journey.
Taxi or Ride-Hailing Services
Another convenient way to reach Kodiveri Waterfalls is by hiring a taxi or using ride-hailing services like Ola or Uber. If you are starting from Coimbatore, the fare may range from INR 1200 to INR 1800, depending on the type of vehicle and the traffic conditions. The ride will take approximately 2 hours. This option offers more flexibility as you can choose your departure time and avoid the hassle of public transport.
