Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main market area in Tawang. Head towards the Tawang Monastery and follow the road leading south. After approximately 10 km, you will reach the Chariduar - Tawang Road (NH 13). Turn left onto this road. Continue driving for about 20 km until you see signposts directing you to Lumum Waterfall. There are small markers along the way, and you may need to ask locals for specific directions as you approach Tippi Village. The waterfall is located just off the road, so look for a small parking area.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, catch a shared taxi or bus from Tawang to Tippi Village. The main bus station is located near the Tawang Monastery. Buses and shared taxis often leave throughout the day and will take you directly to Tippi Village, which is around 30 km away. The fare is typically around INR 50-100 per person. Once you arrive in Tippi Village, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to reach Lumum Waterfall. It's about a 5 km distance from the village, and you should expect to pay around INR 200-300 for a local taxi.

If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can hike from Tippi Village to Lumum Waterfall. After reaching Tippi, follow the trail that leads to the waterfall. The hike is moderately challenging and takes about 1-1.5 hours. Ensure you wear appropriate footwear and carry water with you. The path is marked, but it’s advisable to ask locals for guidance, as they can provide valuable tips about the terrain.
