Car
Start your journey from Tawang by getting onto the NH13 highway heading towards Dirang. The distance is approximately 42 kilometers and will take around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on road conditions. Drive past the scenic landscapes and make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the signposts indicating the Hot Spring. Upon reaching Dirang, continue driving on the Chariduar - Bhalukpung Road. The hot spring is located at 96HJ+CPR, which is about 10 kilometers from Dirang town center. Look for parking spaces available nearby the spring.
Public Transportation
From Tawang, you can take a shared taxi or a bus heading to Dirang. Shared taxis are available from the main taxi stand in Tawang and usually depart when full. The fare is around ₹200-₹300 per person. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once in Dirang, you can hire a local taxi or an auto-rickshaw to reach the Hot Spring, which is approximately 10 kilometers away. The fare for this short trip should not exceed ₹200.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, from the Dirang bus station, you can walk towards the Hot Spring. However, this option is suitable only for the adventurous as it is about a 10-kilometer trek. Walking along the Chariduar - Bhalukpung Road, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water along with you. This walk could take approximately 2 to 3 hours.
