The fare is quite affordable, and the journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Kovalam, ask the driver to drop you near the beach area, which is a popular spot.

Auto-rickshaw

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire an auto-rickshaw from anywhere in Trivandrum. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand or ask the driver to use the meter. The ride to Kovalam will take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Just tell the driver 'Kovalam Beach,' and they will take you directly to the popular beach area.

Train

While there is no direct train to Kovalam, you can take a train to the nearest station, which is at Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) Central. From there, you will need to take a taxi or auto-rickshaw to Kovalam. The train ride is a scenic option, but make sure to check the train schedule. Once you arrive at Trivandrum Central, take an auto-rickshaw for about 30 minutes to reach Kovalam.

Walking

If you're staying close to Kovalam, you can walk to the beach area. Look for signs directing you to Kovalam Beach from your accommodation.
