If you are near the Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station, exit the station and head east on T. P. Sreenivasan Road. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers, which will take you around 15-20 minutes on foot. You will pass by the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus station on your left. Keep walking until you reach the East Fort area, where the Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Palace (Kuthira Malika) is located at FWJW+X6F. Look for the entrance marked by a large gate and guards.

From anywhere in Trivandrum, head to the nearest bus stop and take a local bus heading towards East Fort. Make sure to ask the bus conductor if it stops at East Fort to ensure you are on the right route. The journey may take 10-30 minutes depending on your starting point. Once you get off at East Fort, head towards the Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Palace (Kuthira Malika), which is a short walk from the bus stop.

You can hire an auto-rickshaw from anywhere in Trivandrum. Simply tell the driver 'Kuthira Malika' or 'Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Palace', and they will know the location. It should cost you around 50 to 100 INR depending on your starting point. The ride will typically take 10-20 minutes. The auto-rickshaw will drop you right at the entrance of the palace.
