Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the City Palace, head northwest on Fateh Prakash Rd towards the entrance of the City Palace. Continue walking straight and take a left onto Chandpole. Follow Chandpole until you reach the intersection with the main road. From there, take a right onto the main road and continue straight. You will pass through a bustling market area. Keep walking straight until you see the sign for Fateh Sagar Lake on your right. Follow the signs leading you towards the lake, and you will reach the boating point.

• Auto-Rickshaw

  From your location in Udaipur, find the nearest auto-rickshaw stand. When you board, tell the driver that you want to go to Fateh Sagar Lake boating point (you can show them the address 'HMXH+54R, Fateh Sagar Lake, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001' if needed). The driver will take you through the city, and the ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. They will drop you off at the boating point, which is easily recognizable by the lake view and the boating activity.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a nearby rental shop in Udaipur. Start from the Jagdish Temple area and head towards the main road. Cycle along the main road until you reach the Fateh Sagar Lake entrance. Once you reach the lake, follow the path that goes around the lake until you get to the boating point, which will be clearly marked.

• Local Bus

  Look for a local bus that has routes to Fateh Sagar Lake. You can catch a bus from the main bus station in Udaipur. Ask the conductor or the ticket seller for a ticket to Fateh Sagar Lake. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the boating point which is situated along the lakeshore.
