Getting There

• Walking

  From City Palace, head south towards Fateh Sagar Lake, following the main road. Continue walking along the lakeside promenade until you reach the entrance to Swaroop Sagar. Imli Ghat is located on the eastern shore of Swaroop Sagar. Look for signs or locals for directions if needed. The walk takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.

• Rickshaw

  From the main market area near Hathi Pol, you can hire an auto-rickshaw to Imli Ghat. Tell the driver to take you to Swaroop Sagar. The journey should take approximately 10-15 minutes, and you can expect to pay around 50-100 INR. The rickshaw will drop you off near the lake, from where you can walk to the ghat.

• Local Bus

  Take a local bus from the Udaipur City Bus Stand heading towards Fateh Sagar Lake. Get off at the stop nearest to Swaroop Sagar. From there, it’s a short walk to Imli Ghat, following local signage or asking for directions if you are unsure. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in the city. Head towards Fateh Sagar Lake, navigating through the streets that lead to the lakefront. Once you reach Swaroop Sagar, park your bicycle near the entrance of the ghat. The ride will take about 30 minutes, depending on your starting point.
