Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car within Chopta, head towards the main road that leads to the Tungnath Temple. From the center of Chopta, follow the signs for Tungnath, which is approximately 3 km away. You can park your car at the designated parking area near the Tungnath trek starting point. The trek to Mini Switzerland begins from the Tungnath parking area and is well marked.

Trekking

After parking your vehicle at the Tungnath parking area, begin your trek towards Mini Switzerland. The trek is approximately a 2 km uphill hike, which usually takes about 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Follow the well-trodden path, and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable trekking shoes and carry water and snacks.

Public Transportation

If you are using public transportation, take a bus or shared jeep from major towns like Rudraprayag or Ukhimath to Chopta. Once you arrive in Chopta, you can either hire a local taxi or trek to the Tungnath parking area from where you will start your hike to Mini Switzerland. Ensure to check the local bus schedules as they can vary.
