Once on the road, take a left and walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Sadar Ghat Road. Turn right onto Sadar Ghat Road and continue walking until you reach the banks of the Ganges River. From there, you can walk along the riverfront, and you will soon see Scindia Ghat ahead. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes.
Rickshaw
From any location in Varanasi, you can hire an auto-rickshaw by waving one down on the street or using a ride-hailing app. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Scindia Ghat' or 'Dattatreya math, Sindhia ghat.' The driver will take you to the nearest drop-off point, which is typically near the riverbank. The ride may take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
Boat
If you are in the area of Dashashwamedh Ghat, you can hire a boat to take you to Scindia Ghat. Approach one of the boatmen and negotiate the fare; usually, it costs around 200-500 INR depending on the type of boat and duration. The boat ride will give you a unique view of the ghats and will take about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to inform the boatman to drop you off at Scindia Ghat.
Public Transport (Bus)
Locate a nearby bus stop and find a bus heading towards the 'Assi Ghat' direction. Inform the conductor that you want to go to Scindia Ghat. Get off at the 'Assi Ghat' stop and walk towards the river. Once at the riverfront, walk north along the Ganges, and Scindia Ghat will be visible a short distance away. The total travel time by bus will be around 30-45 minutes.
