Walking
If you are in the heart of Varanasi, such as near Dashashwamedh Ghat, start by walking towards the main road, Godowlia. From there, head towards the Kashi Vishwanath Temple direction. The easiest way is to follow the signs towards the temple. After approximately 1 km, you will reach a busy junction. Continue straight, and you will see the entrance to the temple area. Navigate through the narrow lanes of Lahori Tola, and you will find the विश्वनाथ ज्योतिर्लिंग right next to Gyanvapi Mandir, at CK 33/47.
Rickshaw
From any central location in Varanasi, you can hire a cycle rickshaw or auto-rickshaw. Simply tell the driver 'Kashi Vishwanath Mandir' or 'Gyanvapi Mandir' as your destination. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to have some cash ready, as many drivers may not accept digital payments. Once you reach the vicinity of the temple, the driver will drop you off at a nearby point, from where you can walk to the विश्वनाथ ज्योतिर्लिंग.
Public Transport (Bus/Local Transport)
You can take a local bus that heads towards the Godowlia area. Once you get off at the Godowlia bus stop, head towards the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. It is a well-known landmark, and you can ask locals for directions if needed. After walking for about 15 minutes from the bus stop, you will arrive at the temple complex, where the विश्वनाथ ज्योतिर्लिंग is located near Gyanvapi Mandir.
