Take a left turn onto Puthenthope Road and continue for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs indicating Vallakadavu bridge ahead. The bridge is located at PPG9+88R, which is accessible via local roads. Make sure to park in designated areas as parking may be limited.
Public Transportation
To reach Vallakadavu bridge using public transportation, start from Varkala Railway Station. Board a local bus headed towards Varkala Beach or Puthenthope. The bus fare is approximately ₹15-₹20. Get off at the Puthenthope stop, and from there, you can either walk for about 1 kilometer towards Vallakadavu bridge or hire a local auto-rickshaw for about ₹50-₹100. The bridge is located at PPG9+88R, Varkala, and is a popular spot that locals can help direct you to.
Walking
If you are already in Varkala and prefer a more scenic route, you can walk to Vallakadavu bridge. From Varkala Beach, head east on the beach road and continue until you reach the cliffside path. Follow this path for about 2 kilometers until it connects with Puthenthope Road. Turn left and walk for another 500 meters to reach the bridge at PPG9+88R. This route offers beautiful views of the coastline.
