Public Transportation (Local Train + Ferry)

For those using public transport, take a local train to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) or Churchgate station. From CSMT, exit towards the East and find the BEST bus or taxi to reach the Ferry Wharf ferry terminal. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or an auto-rickshaw directly to Ferry Wharf from either station. Once at the terminal, purchase your ferry ticket to Elephanta Island. The ferry ride duration is approximately 1 hour, with ticket prices around ₹200-₹300 for a round trip.

Ferry from Gateway of India

Another option is to take a ferry from Gateway of India, which is a popular tourist spot. If you're near Gateway of India, you can walk to the terminal.
