If you are starting from the Anderson City Center, head southwest on W 8th St toward Main St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with W 11th St. Turn left onto W 11th St and walk for about three blocks. The Madison County Historical Society will be on your right at 15 W 11th St. Look for the large historical society sign in front of the building.

From the Anderson Public Library, head west on E 5th St. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Main St. Turn right onto Main St and continue until you reach W 11th St. Turn left onto W 11th St and ride straight for about a mile. The Madison County Historical Society will be on your left at 15 W 11th St, just before the intersection with McKenzie St.

If you are using the Anderson Public Transit, take the blue route bus towards the Anderson Mall. Get off at the stop near Main St and W 10th St. From there, walk west on W 10th St until you reach Main St, then turn right. Continue on Main St until you reach W 11th St. Turn left onto W 11th St, and the Madison County Historical Society will be located at 15 W 11th St, just a short walk ahead on your right.
