Walking
If you are starting from downtown Anderson, head east on E 8th St toward Main St. Continue on E 8th St for about half a mile until you reach Madison Ave. Turn left on Madison Ave and walk for about 0.7 miles. You will come to the intersection with Mounds State Park Rd. Turn right here, and follow the road for approximately 1 mile, which will lead you directly to the entrance of Mounds State Park. The Visitor Center is located within the park, just a short walk from the entrance.
