Walking
If you are starting from downtown Anderson, head east on E 8th St toward Main St. Continue on E 8th St for about half a mile until you reach Madison Ave. Turn left on Madison Ave and walk for about 0.7 miles. You will come to the intersection with Mounds State Park Rd. Turn right here, and follow the road for approximately 1 mile, which will lead you directly to the entrance of Mounds State Park. The Visitor Center is located within the park, just a short walk from the entrance.

Starting from the Anderson Public Library, head south on Main St for about 1 mile until you reach E 8th St. Turn right onto E 8th St and continue for 0.5 miles. Then, turn left onto Madison Ave and bike for about 0.7 miles. At Mounds State Park Rd, take a right and follow the road for about 1 mile into the park. The Visitor Center is a short ride from the entrance.

Public Transit (Bus)
From the Anderson Transit Center, take the Route 1 bus towards Mounds State Park. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the Mounds State Park stop. Once you disembark, the Visitor Center is a short walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs leading to the Visitor Center within the park.
