Getting There

    From the Fishers Train Station, take the Southbound train (toward Indianapolis) on the Indiana Rail Road. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Indianapolis Station, exit the train and head to the bus terminal located right outside. Catch the number 8 bus heading towards 'Downtown Indianapolis'. This bus will take you directly to Monument Circle. Get off at the stop 'Monument Circle' and you will see the iconic monument right in front of you.

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing stations in Fishers. Start your ride heading south on the 116th Street bike lane until you reach the White River Greenway. Follow the Greenway trail southbound until you reach the area near downtown Indianapolis. You will eventually connect to the Central Canal Towpath, which leads you directly towards Monument Circle. The ride is approximately 16 miles and will take about 1 hour depending on your speed.

    If you are near the Fishers City Hall, you can start walking towards the east on 116th Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Allisonville Road. Turn right on Allisonville Road and continue walking south. After about 2 miles, you will reach the Fishers District. From there, keep walking south on the nearest major road, which will lead you towards the downtown area of Indianapolis. It’s about a 6-mile walk, so be prepared for a 2-hour trek. You will eventually see Monument Circle as you approach downtown.
