Disembark at the Millennium Station in Chicago. From Millennium Station, walk to the nearby State Street and catch the #3 King Drive bus heading south. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 18th Street & Prairie Avenue stop. Walk west on 18th Street for two blocks, then turn left onto Prairie Avenue. The Glessner House will be on your right.

  • Public Transit - Train and Bus

    Begin your journey at the Gary Metro Center and take the South Shore Line train to Chicago, getting off at the Van Buren Street Station. From there, walk to the nearby CTA 'Pink Line' 18th station. Board the Pink Line train heading towards Polk. Disembark at the Damen station. Transfer to the #21 Cermak bus at the Damen & Cermak stop. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the 18th Street & Prairie Avenue stop. Walk west along 18th Street for two blocks, then turn left onto Prairie Avenue. The Glessner House will be located on your right side.
