    From downtown Gary, head to the nearest bus stop on Broadway Avenue. Take the Gary Public Transportation Corporation (GPTC) bus route 15 towards the South Shore Line. Ride the bus until you reach the Gary Metro Center. At the Metro Center, transfer to the South Shore Line train heading to Chicago. Stay on the train until you arrive at the Millennium Station in Chicago. From Millennium Station, walk east on East Randolph Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the Millennium Park Welcome Center at 201 E Randolph St.

    Public Transit - Train

    Begin your journey at the Gary Metro Center and catch the South Shore Line train towards Chicago. The train departs frequently, so check the schedule for the next available train. Ride the train until you arrive at Millennium Station. Once you exit the station, walk east on East Randolph Street for approximately 5 minutes. The Millennium Park Welcome Center will be on your right at 201 E Randolph St.
