From Gary, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the #3 or #5 bus towards Chicago. Make sure to pay your fare either by cash or through a transit card. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Chicago & State' stop. Once you get off, walk south on State Street for about 5 minutes until you reach Wacker Drive. Turn left (east) on Wacker Drive and continue walking for another 5 minutes. The Skydeck Chicago will be on your right at 233 S Wacker Dr.

Head to the nearest South Shore Line train station in Gary. Purchase a ticket to the Millennium Station in Chicago. The train ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Millennium Station, exit the station and walk towards the exit that leads to the street. Head north on Michigan Avenue until you reach Wacker Drive. Turn left (west) on Wacker Drive and walk for about 10 minutes. The Skydeck Chicago will be on your left at 233 S Wacker Dr.
