Car
From the main visitor center of Indiana Dunes National Park, head east on US-12 for approximately 5 miles. Take the exit toward I-94 E and merge onto I-94 E. Continue for about 6 miles, then take exit 34 toward US-421 N. Merge onto US-421 N and continue north for about 2 miles. Turn right onto E Lake Front Dr, and you will arrive at Lake View Beach shortly after. There is no parking fee at Lake View Beach, but be aware of the parking regulations.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start at the nearest bus stop within Indiana Dunes National Park. Take the South Shore Line train towards Chicago and disembark at the Michigan City station. From there, you can catch the local bus (Michigan City Transit) Route 5 towards the Lakefront. Get off at the stop closest to E Lake Front Dr. Walk east for about 0.5 miles to reach Lake View Beach. Note that the train fare may vary, so check the South Shore Line website for current pricing.
