If you are starting from downtown Lafayette, head northeast on Main Street toward 5th Street. Turn left onto 5th Street and continue straight for about half a mile. You will reach a roundabout; take the second exit onto the US-52 N ramp. After a short walk, you will pass the Wabash River on your right. Continue walking for about a mile, and as you approach the intersection with Tapawingo Drive, look for the entrance to Tapawingo Park on your left.
