If you are starting from the New Albany Riverfront, head west on Water Street. Continue straight until you reach State Street. Turn left onto State Street and walk until you reach Market Street. Turn right onto Market Street, and you will find the Floyd County Historical Society Padgett Museum at 509 W Market St, directly ahead.

From the New Albany Public Library, walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Spring Street and Main Street. Take the TARC bus route 18 towards Louisville. Get off at the stop at the corner of Market Street and W 5th Street. From there, walk west along Market Street for two blocks until you reach 509 W Market St, where the Floyd County Historical Society Padgett Museum is located.
