    If you're driving from anywhere in Northwest Indiana, take I-90 W/I-94 W towards Chicago. After about 35 miles, take exit 52A for I-55 N toward Stevenson Expy. Continue on I-55 N for about 5 miles, then take exit 292C for I-90 E. Merge onto I-90 E and stay on it for about 3 miles. Take exit 52A for S Indiana Ave toward IL-1. Continue on S Indiana Ave for about 1 mile, then turn right onto E 18th St. Finally, turn left onto S Prairie Ave and you will arrive at Glessner House, located at 1800 S Prairie Ave, Chicago, IL 60616. Parking may be available nearby, but check local signs for any fees.

    For those using public transportation, start at the South Shore Line train station in Northwest Indiana (such as the Hammond or East Chicago stations). Board the train heading towards Chicago. After approximately 1 hour, disembark at the Millennium Station in downtown Chicago. From there, take the Metra Electric Line from Millennium Station towards University Park. Get off at the 18th Street Station. Once you exit the station, walk south along S Indiana Ave for about 10 minutes.
