From the main entrance of Pokagon State Park, head north on IN-69 N for about 5 miles. Merge onto I-69 N via the ramp to Fort Wayne. Continue on I-69 N for approximately 15 miles. Take exit 354 for US-20 W toward Fremont. After exiting, turn left onto US-20 W and continue for about 3 miles. Turn right onto N Ray Rd. Wild Winds Buffalo Preserves will be on your left at 6975 N Ray Rd, Fremont, IN 46737.

Unfortunately, public transportation options are limited in the area surrounding Pokagon State Park. The closest bus station is in Angola, IN, which is approximately 15 miles away. You can take a taxi or rideshare service from Angola to Wild Winds Buffalo Preserves. Expect to pay around $30-$40 for the taxi ride. From the bus station in Angola, you would take IN-127 N and follow the same directions as when driving from the park.

For those adventurous enough to bike, start from the entrance of Pokagon State Park, and head north on IN-69 N. You can use the shoulder of the road but be cautious of traffic. The distance is about 8 miles to the intersection with US-20 W, where you will turn left. Continue biking on US-20 W and then turn right onto N Ray Rd to reach Wild Winds Buffalo Preserves.
