Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in downtown Richmond, start by heading north on North 6th Street. Continue walking straight until you reach East Main Street. Turn right onto East Main Street and walk until you reach South 9th Street. Turn left onto South 9th Street and continue until you reach the intersection with New Paris Pike. At this intersection, turn right onto New Paris Pike. Freeman Park will be on your left at 1150 New Paris Pike, approximately 0.7 miles from downtown Richmond.

• Biking

  From downtown Richmond, take the bike path heading north that runs along the river. Follow the path until you reach North 6th Street. Head east on North 6th Street until you reach East Main Street, then turn right. Continue straight on East Main Street until you reach South 9th Street. Turn left onto South 9th Street, then right onto New Paris Pike. Freeman Park will be on your left at 1150 New Paris Pike, about 1.5 miles from downtown.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  Check the local bus schedule for Route 1, which travels from downtown Richmond to the area near Freeman Park. Board the bus at the nearest stop to your location. Inform the driver you want to get off at New Paris Pike. Once you get off the bus, walk north along New Paris Pike for about 0.2 miles, and Freeman Park will be on your left at 1150 New Paris Pike.
