Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Richmond downtown area, head east on East Main Street until you reach South 11th Street. Turn left (north) onto South 11th Street and continue walking until you reach East South Street. Turn right (east) onto East South Street. Follow this street until it merges into Waterfall Road. Continue on Waterfall Road, and you will see Thistlethwaite Falls on your right at 65 Waterfall Rd. The walk should take approximately 25-30 minutes depending on your pace.

• Bicycling

  For a faster route on a bicycle, start from the Richmond city center and head east on East Main Street. Turn left onto South 11th Street and continue north. After a few blocks, turn right onto East South Street, which will lead you directly to Waterfall Road. Continue straight on Waterfall Road, and Thistlethwaite Falls will be on your right at 65 Waterfall Rd. The bike ride should take around 10-15 minutes.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Thistlethwaite Falls using public transportation, check the local bus schedule for routes that service the outbound areas towards Waterfall Road. You may need to take a bus from the downtown Richmond area to a stop near the intersection of South 11th Street and East South Street. From there, disembark and walk east on East South Street until it becomes Waterfall Road. Follow Waterfall Road, and you will find Thistlethwaite Falls at 65 Waterfall Rd.
