If you are starting at the South Bend Regional Museum of Art located at 120 S. St. Joseph St, South Bend, IN 46601, walk south on S. St. Joseph St. until you reach W. Colfax Ave. Turn left onto W. Colfax Ave and continue walking until you reach S. Michigan St. Turn right onto S. Michigan St and walk south for approximately 1 mile. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. When you reach W. Jefferson Blvd, continue straight until you see the intersection with S. 23rd St. From here, head west on W. Jefferson Blvd until you see Porter (Rea) Cemetery Historic Marker on your left.

From the South Bend International Airport, take the South Bend Transpo bus route 6 towards the downtown area. Get off at the stop at S. Michigan St and W. Jefferson Blvd. From there, walk south along S. Michigan St for about 0.5 miles until you reach W. Jefferson Blvd. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the Porter (Rea) Cemetery Historic Marker, which will be on your left.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in downtown South Bend. Start at the East Race Waterway, and follow the bike path south along the river. Continue until you reach W. Jefferson Blvd. From there, head west on W. Jefferson Blvd, cycling about 1 mile. The Porter (Rea) Cemetery Historic Marker will be on your left, just before you reach the intersection with S. 23rd St.
