After about 2 miles, take the exit for Crumstown Hwy. Turn left onto Crumstown Hwy (IN-4). Chamberlain Lake Nature Preserve will be on your right after about 1 mile at 58111 Crumstown Hwy. Parking is available on-site.

Take the South Bend Public Transportation Corporation (SBPTC) bus route 9 (South Bend to Crumstown). Board the bus at any major bus stop in South Bend. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the Crumstown Hwy stop closest to the preserve. From there, it is a short walk (about 0.5 miles) to Chamberlain Lake Nature Preserve located at 58111 Crumstown Hwy.

If you prefer cycling, you can bike from downtown South Bend. Head south on S Michigan St, then take the IN-23 S bike route. Follow the bike lanes for about 4 miles, then merge onto US-31 S. After about 2 miles, take the exit for Crumstown Hwy. Turn left onto Crumstown Hwy, and continue for around 1 mile until you reach Chamberlain Lake Nature Preserve.
