If you are starting from the Terre Haute Convention Center located at 800 Wabash Ave, walk east on Wabash Ave for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by various shops and restaurants along the way. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with 9th St. The Vigo County Historical Museum will be on your left at 929 Wabash Ave. The building is a historical structure with a sign in front, making it easy to spot.

From the Terre Haute Transit Center at 9th St and Wabash Ave, take the Route 1 bus heading towards the downtown area. Get off at the stop on Wabash Ave near the intersection with 9th St. From there, walk south on Wabash Ave for about 2 blocks. The Vigo County Historical Museum will be on your left at 929 Wabash Ave. Look for the museum's sign to guide you.
