Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, from anywhere in The Calumet Region, head towards US-20 W. Take I-94 W toward Chicago. Merge onto I-80 W. Keep left to continue on I-90 W. Take the exit for IN-49 N toward Chesterton. Merge onto IN-49 N, then take the exit toward US-20 E. Continue on US-20 E until you reach S Calumet Rd. Turn left onto S Calumet Rd, and Thomas Centennial Park will be on your right at 105 S Calumet Rd, Chesterton, IN 46304.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, start by taking the South Shore Line train from any station in The Calumet Region towards Chicago. Disembark at the Chesterton/Duneland station. From there, you can take a local bus (check the local transit authority for specific routes) or use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach Thomas Centennial Park at 105 S Calumet Rd, Chesterton, IN 46304.

• Walking (from nearby public transport stop)

  If you arrive at the Chesterton/Duneland train station, you can walk to Thomas Centennial Park. It’s about a 30-minute walk. Exit the train station and head south on S 15th St toward W 100 N, turn right onto W 100 N, then turn left onto S Calumet Rd. Continue walking straight for about a mile, and you will see Thomas Centennial Park on your left.
