Merge onto IN-39 S and follow it for about 7 miles. After that, turn right onto IN-42 W. Continue on IN-42 W for about 6 miles. Then turn left onto Upper Cataract Falls Road. Follow this road for about 1 mile. You will reach the parking area for Upper Cataract Falls, which is located at 39.4345° N, 86.8133° W.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start at the Bloomington Transit Center. You will need to take a bus to the nearest town, which is Spencer, Indiana. Check local bus schedules as they may vary. Once in Spencer, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to Upper Cataract Falls. The falls are approximately 10 miles from Spencer, so be prepared for this additional cost. Ensure you confirm the fare with your driver before starting your journey.
