The Majestic Engineering Fountain: A Jewel of Purdue University

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Purdue Memorial Union, exit the building and walk towards the Purdue Mall. Continue straight ahead, crossing West State Street. The Engineering Fountain is located at 610 Purdue Mall, which is directly in front of the Engineering buildings. Look for the fountain in the center of the mall area, surrounded by beautiful landscaping.

• Walking

  From the Purdue University campus, head towards the Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering. As you approach the hall, you will see the Engineering Fountain in front of you. Take the path that leads directly to the fountain, which will be directly accessible from the building.

• Public Transportation

  If you are near the West Lafayette Public Library, you can take the CityBus Route 1 (Blue Route) towards the Purdue University campus. Get off at the 'Purdue Memorial Union' stop. From there, walk straight towards the Purdue Mall, crossing West State Street. The Engineering Fountain will be visible as you approach the mall area.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, you can ride along the Wabash Heritage Trail towards Purdue University. Once you reach the campus, follow the signs directing you towards the Engineering buildings. The Engineering Fountain is located at 610 Purdue Mall, which should be easily accessible from any bike paths leading into the campus.
