Getting there

Public Bus

If you are starting from Ubud, head to the Ubud Central Bus Station. Look for a bus heading towards Bangli or Kintamani. The ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Kintamani, you will need to take a short walk or a local ojek (motorbike taxi) to reach Mount Batur View Point. The point is well-signposted.

Bemo (Shared Minivan)

From Ubud, you can take a bemo (shared minivan) that goes to Kintamani. Bemos usually leave from the Ubud Market area. Make sure to ask the driver if they stop at Central Batur. The journey takes about 1 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Central Batur, you can walk to the viewpoint, which is nearby.

Ojek (Motorbike Taxi)

If you are in the vicinity of Kintamani, you can hire an ojek from your hotel or nearby area. Simply show the driver the name 'Mount Batur View Point' or the address 'Central Batur, Kintamani'. The ride will take about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

Walking

If you are staying in Central Batur, you can easily walk to Mount Batur View Point. Just head towards the main road and follow the signs towards the viewpoint. It is approximately a 20-minute walk from the center of the village.
