Public Transport

Begin your journey from Ubud, a popular tourist area in Bali. Head to the Ubud Bus Station and take the Kura-Kura Bus (route 2) towards Denpasar. Get off at the Tegalalang stop. From there, you can take a local bemo (shared minibus) heading to Tegallalang. Inform the driver you want to go to Tangkup Waterfall, and they will drop you off at the nearest point to the waterfall entrance.

Walking

Once you are dropped off near the entrance, you will need to walk approximately 1 km down a small path leading to Tangkup Waterfall. The path may be steep in some areas, so wear comfortable shoes. Follow the signs pointing towards the waterfall. You will walk through lush greenery and may encounter local farmers and their livestock along the way.

Local Guide

If you prefer a more guided experience, you can hire a local guide at the Tegallalang area who can take you directly to Tangkup Waterfall.
