Getting There

  If you prefer a more direct option, you can use ride-hailing apps like Grab or Gojek. Simply open the app and set your destination to 'Mt. Batur' or the address 'Ubud, Gianyar Regency, Bali 80571'. This option is more convenient and will take approximately 1-1.5 hours from Ubud, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the pickup location with the driver.

• Guided Tour

  Many local operators offer guided tours that include transportation from Ubud to Mt. Batur. You can book these tours online or through local travel agencies. The tours typically include pickup from your accommodation in Ubud around 2-3 AM, transportation to the trekking starting point, and additional activities like the jeep tour and ATV QuadBike. This is a great option as it removes the need for navigation and logistics.

• Bicycle Rental

  For the adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Ubud and cycling to Mt. Batur. This option is best for experienced cyclists and will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Head north on Jalan Raya Ubud, then follow signs toward Kintamani. Be prepared for hilly terrain and ensure you have sufficient water and supplies. Note that you will need to arrange transport to the ATV QuadBike location upon arrival.
