To get to Nusa Penida from Bali, first make your way to Sanur Beach, which is one of the main departure points for ferries. If you are in a hotel or a popular tourist area, you can take a taxi or Grab (a ride-hailing app) to Sanur Beach. Once you arrive, look for the ticket counters for boats to Nusa Penida. Ferries operate regularly from early morning until late afternoon, typically between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Purchase your ticket at the counter, and then head to the designated boarding area. The ferry ride takes about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on sea conditions. Upon arrival at Nusa Penida, you will disembark at the main harbor.

Fast Boat
An alternative to the ferry is to take a fast boat, which can be booked through various operators online. Similar to the ferry, the fast boat leaves from Sanur Beach. To get there, use a taxi or Grab from your location in Bali. Arrive at Sanur Beach at least 30 minutes before departure to ensure you have time to check in and board. The fast boat is slightly more expensive but cuts down travel time to around 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Nusa Penida, you'll dock at the same harbor as the ferries.
