If you are in the southern part of Bali, start by taking a public bus from Kuta, Legian, or Seminyak to the Ubung Bus Station in Denpasar. From Ubung, transfer to a bus heading to Singaraja. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Kubutambahan. Once you arrive in Kubutambahan, Pura Maduwe Karang is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus drop-off point. Head north on Jl. Raya Kubutambahan, and follow the signs to the temple.

Shared Taxi (Bemo)
From areas like Ubud or Canggu, you can catch a shared taxi, known as a Bemo, that goes towards Singaraja. Make sure to tell the driver that you want to stop at Kubutambahan. The Bemo will drop you off near the center of Kubutambahan village. From there, walk north on Jl. Raya Kubutambahan for about 10 minutes until you reach Pura Maduwe Karang.

If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a motorbike. From popular tourist areas like Ubud, head north on Jl. Raya Ubud, then take Jl. Raya Tegallalang towards Jl. Raya Singaraja. Follow signs to Kubutambahan. Once you arrive in Kubutambahan, park your bike and walk for about 10 minutes north on Jl. Raya Kubutambahan to reach Pura Maduwe Karang.
