Private Car
If you are traveling by private car from Bukit Lawang, head south on Jalan Bukit Lawang for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs leading to Jejak Leuser Sumatra, which is located near Ecolodge, Bukit Lawang. The entrance will be on your right, and there is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation (Bemo)
To reach Jejak Leuser Sumatra using public transportation, take a Bemo (shared minivan) from the main drop-off point in Bukit Lawang. Bemos frequently head towards Bohorok and will stop near Ecolodge. Inform the driver that you're going to Jejak Leuser Sumatra. The fare is typically around IDR 5,000 per person. After you get off, walk about 200 meters to the entrance.
Walking
If you prefer walking, start from the main tourist area in Bukit Lawang. Head south on Jalan Bukit Lawang, following the river for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Jejak Leuser Sumatra. The entrance will be on your right. This walk takes approximately 20-30 minutes and offers beautiful views of the surroundings.
