To reach Istiqlal Mosque from anywhere in Jakarta, you can use the TransJakarta bus service. First, find the nearest TransJakarta bus stop. Board the bus on the Corridor 1 route, which runs from Blok M to Kota. Make sure to get off at the 'Harmoni' bus stop. From Harmoni, switch to Corridor 2 and take the bus towards Pulogadung. Get off at the 'Kota' bus stop. From there, it's a short walk to Istiqlal Mosque. Head east on Jl. Taman Wijaya Kusuma until you reach the mosque.
