Car
If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards the city of Yogyakarta. From Yogyakarta, take the Jalan Ring Road Selatan heading east. Continue on this road for about 30 km until you reach the town of Wonosari. Once in Wonosari, follow the signs to Gunung Kidul. After passing Wonosari, take the road to Semanu. You will find signs directing you to Jomblang Cave. The cave entrance is located in Jetis, Pacarejo, Semanu. Make sure to park in the designated areas near the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Jomblang Cave via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Yogyakarta to Wonosari. Buses leave regularly from the Giwangan Bus Terminal. Once you arrive in Wonosari, you can take a local minibus or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to Semanu. Inform the driver that you want to go to Jomblang Cave. The minibus will drop you off near the entrance. From there, follow the signs to the cave entrance which is a short walk away.
