Getting There

• Public Bus

  Start at the central Yogyakarta area, typically around Malioboro Street. Look for a bus stop that serves the Trans Jogja bus route. Board a bus heading towards the terminal at Giwangan. Once at Giwangan Bus Terminal, take a local minibus (angkot) to Kulon Progo. You can find angkot that specifically go to Samigaluh. Inform the driver of your destination, Kebun Teh Nglinggo. The local drivers are usually familiar with the tourist attractions. After a short ride, you will reach a drop-off point near Kebun Teh Nglinggo, from where it will be a short walk to the tea garden.

• Motorcycle Taxi (Ojek)

  If you're starting from a central location in Yogyakarta, such as the Malioboro area, you can use a motorcycle taxi service like Gojek or Grab. Open the app, set your destination as Kebun Teh Nglinggo, and choose a motorcycle taxi. The driver will navigate through the city and take you directly to the entrance of Kebun Teh Nglinggo. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Bicycle Rental

  For the more adventurous, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Yogyakarta. Head out from the city center towards the north and follow the main road leading toward Kulon Progo. Make sure to have a map or GPS app handy for navigation. The ride is approximately 18 km and will take you through beautiful rural landscapes. As you approach Samigaluh, look for signs directing you to Kebun Teh Nglinggo, which is well marked. The tea garden is located on a hillside, so be prepared for some uphill cycling toward the end.
