Getting there

Public Bus

From the city center of Yogyakarta, head to the Giwangan Bus Terminal. You can take a local taxi or a ride-hailing service to get there. Once at the terminal, look for a bus heading to Gunung Kidul. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Ask the driver to drop you off at Bejiharjo. After you get off, you can walk or take a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) to Jalan Goa Pindul Gelaran, which is about a 10-minute ride.
