Getting there

Public Bus

From the city center of Yogyakarta, head to the nearest Trans Jogja bus stop. You can take bus line 1A or 1B towards the Prambanan stop. The bus will take you directly to Prambanan Temple. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs directing you to the temple entrance, which is just a short walk away.

Bicycle Rental

If you enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Yogyakarta. Start your ride from the city center and follow Jl. Solo – Yogyakarta heading east. The distance is about 17 km, and you will pass through beautiful local scenery. Once you reach Prambanan Temple, look for the designated bicycle parking area near the entrance.

Walking

If you are staying at a nearby hotel or accommodation, you can walk to Prambanan Temple. Make your way to Jl. Raya Solo – Yogyakarta (Jl. Solo) and head towards the east. The temple is well-marked and is approximately 1.5 km from the main road. Enjoy the local shops and eateries along the way.
