    If you're driving from Yogyakarta, take the Jl. Magelang road (Jl. Raya Yogyakarta-Magelang) towards Magelang. After approximately 40 kilometers, follow the signs for Borobudur Temple. There is ample parking available at the site. Be aware that there is an entrance fee of approximately IDR 50,000 for adults and IDR 25,000 for children.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    From Yogyakarta, you can catch a bus from the Jombor Bus Terminal to Borobudur. Buses leave regularly, and the journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. The fare is approximately IDR 30,000. Upon arrival at the Borobudur bus terminal, you can either walk (around 15-20 minutes) or take a local taxi to the entrance of Borobudur Temple, which will cost around IDR 10,000.

    You can take a train from Yogyakarta to Magelang station. However, trains do not go directly to Borobudur. From Magelang station, it is best to take a taxi or local transport to Borobudur Temple, which is about 30 kilometers away. The taxi fare is approximately IDR 150,000.
