To reach Puncak ARU by car from Labuan Bajo, start by heading east on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta. Continue driving for about 5 kilometers until you reach the junction for Batu Cermin. Turn left onto the road leading to Batu Cermin. Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the direction to Puncak ARU. Keep an eye out for the turn-off onto Unnamed Road, which is just before reaching Batu Cermin village. Drive along Unnamed Road for about 1 kilometer, and you will reach Puncak ARU.
Public Transportation
From Labuan Bajo, you can find local minivans (angkot) heading towards Batu Cermin. Board one of these minivans, usually located near the main market area. Inquire with the driver if they go to Batu Cermin or Puncak ARU. The fare is typically around IDR 10,000-20,000 per person. Once you arrive in Batu Cermin, you may need to take a motorcycle taxi (ojek) for the final leg to Puncak ARU. Negotiate the fare (approximately IDR 20,000-30,000) and enjoy the scenic ride to your destination.
