If you are driving from central Labuan Bajo, head southeast on Jl. Soekarno Hatta toward Jl. Jend. Sudirman. After about 1 km, turn right onto Jl. Pahlawan. Continue on this road for approximately 3.5 km. You will see signs for Waecicu Beach. The beach will be on your right. The drive typically takes around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
Public Transportation (Bemo)
To reach Waecicu Beach via public transportation, locate a Bemo (shared minivan) heading towards the beach. You can find Bemos at the main terminal in Labuan Bajo. Make sure to tell the driver your destination, Waecicu Beach. The fare is usually around IDR 10,000-15,000 per person. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on stops and traffic. The Bemo will drop you off near the entrance to the beach.
Motorbike Taxi (Ojek)
For a quicker and more direct route, consider taking a motorbike taxi. You can easily find Ojek drivers around Labuan Bajo. Agree on a fare before starting your journey; it should be around IDR 25,000-30,000. The ride to Waecicu Beach will take about 15 minutes, and the drivers are usually familiar with the route.
