Getting There

• Car Rental

  If you choose to rent a car, you can easily navigate your way from Labuan Bajo city center to Waecicu Sunset Point. Start by heading south on Jalan Soekarno Hatta. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Jalan Waecicu. Turn left here. Drive along this road for about 5 kilometers, following the signs to Waecicu Beach. As you approach the beach, you will see signs directing you to the Sunset Point. There is usually parking available near the entrance. Rental prices can vary, but expect to pay around IDR 300,000 to 500,000 per day.

• Public Transportation (Bemo)

  You can take a Bemo (shared minivan) from the main terminal in Labuan Bajo. Look for a Bemo that has 'Waecicu' written on it. The ride will cost around IDR 20,000 to 30,000 per person. The journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Inform the driver to drop you off at Waecicu Beach. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the actual Sunset Point. Make sure to check the Bemo schedule for the return trip.

• Taxi

  You can also hire a taxi to take you directly to Waecicu Sunset Point from anywhere in Labuan Bajo. This is the most convenient option if you are traveling in a group or prefer a direct route. You can negotiate a fare with the driver, which should range between IDR 100,000 to 150,000 one way. The taxi will take approximately 15-20 minutes to reach your destination. Ensure you arrange for a return ride or ask the driver to wait for you.

• Walking (if nearby)

  If you are staying at a nearby hotel or accommodation close to Waecicu, you can opt to walk. The area is quite scenic, and you can enjoy the local landscape. Ensure you have a map or GPS to guide you. Walking directly from the Waecicu Beach area will take about 15-30 minutes, depending on your starting point.
