If you are driving from Manado, head south on Jalan Raya Manado-Tomohon. After approximately 25 km, you will reach the town of Tomohon. Continue driving for another 10 km until you see signs for Lake Tondano. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at Lake Tondano, which is located in Minahasa Regency.

From Manado, you can take a public bus from the Paal Dua bus terminal to Tomohon. The bus fare is around IDR 20,000. The journey takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Tomohon, look for a minibus or angkot (shared taxi) heading to Lake Tondano. The fare for the angkot is about IDR 10,000, and it will drop you off at a point close to the lake.

If you prefer a quicker option from Tomohon, you can hire a motorbike taxi (ojek) to take you directly to Lake Tondano. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000, depending on your bargaining skills. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes.
