Car
If you're traveling by car from Palu, take the Trans Sulawesi highway (Route 1) heading towards the town of Poso. The drive takes about 4-5 hours. Once you reach Poso, continue driving southeast on Route 1 for about 50 km until you reach the town of Lore. From Lore, follow the signs towards Lore Lindu National Park. The park entrance is about 20 km from Lore town. Make sure to have a map or GPS handy, as some roads may not be well signposted.

Public Transportation
From Palu, you can take a minibus (known as 'angkot') to Poso, which takes approximately 4-5 hours and costs around IDR 50,000 to 70,000. Once in Poso, you will need to find another angkot or a local bus heading to Lore. This leg of the journey may take about 1-2 hours and cost around IDR 30,000. After reaching Lore, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to take you to the park entrance, which is about 20 km away and may cost around IDR 100,000.

If you prefer to ride a motorcycle, you can rent one in Palu. Follow the same route as by car, heading towards Poso and then to Lore. Make sure to wear a helmet and ride carefully, as some roads may be in poor condition. The total journey from Palu could take approximately 5-6 hours, depending on your speed and road conditions.
